What countries and government e-invoicing systems does iEDI support?

iEDI supports national and European e-invoicing systems across Denmark, the EU, and selected global markets. This includes Danish e-Delivery (NemHandel), PEPPOL across Europe, Italy’s SDI, Belgium’s mandatory e-invoicing and tax reporting, Poland’s KSeF, France’s PDP and PPF frameworks, Sweden’s Svefakt, Norway’s EHF, Finland’s Finvoice and TEAP/XML, and Germany’s eRechnung, ZUGFeRD, and Factur-X.

Does iEDI support the PEPPOL network?

Yes. iEDI has supported PEPPOL since 2012. While the exchange method is consistent across Europe, we handle country-specific formats and rules on top of the PEPPOL framework. We also support the AS4 protocol used by PEPPOL and expected to be adopted in additional regions.

Is iEDI compliant with current and upcoming European e-invoicing mandates?

Yes. iEDI supports both existing and upcoming mandates, including Belgium’s mandatory e-invoicing, Poland’s KSeF rollout in 2026, and France’s PDP, PPF, and e-reporting requirements starting September 1, 2026. We actively participate in testing phases ahead of production deadlines.

Which traditional EDI standards does iEDI support?

iEDI supports a wide range of traditional EDI standards, including EDIFACT from version 93.A through the latest releases, ANSI X12, TRADACOMS, Odette, and industry-specific EDIFACT subsets such as Scandinavian construction formats, electrical industry formats, and retail-specific standards.

Which document formats can iEDI handle?

We support structured and semi-structured formats including OIOXML, OIOUBL, PEPPOL BIS, CII, xCBL, XML, JSON, CSV, Excel, and fixed-length legacy files commonly used on mainframes and COBOL-based systems.

How are documents exchanged between systems?

iEDI supports traditional transport protocols such as AS2, FTP, and SFTP, as well as OFTP2 for the automotive industry. In addition, we offer a modern JSON-based API called iEDI Exchange as an alternative to file-based integration.

Which ERP and financial systems does iEDI integrate with?
